Ooooh this is a tricky one but it's gotta be Creep and Creep 2 (they go together VERY nicely) though Deadstream is also up there as a new recent fave. Noroi: The Curse is also a classic and strong contender tho the ending symbolism is kinda meh.

Ah yeah, I loved Noroi: The Curse. I also strongly recommend checking out Incantation (2022)!
