My adventures in heterosexuality are so fun because there's so many much more apparent Gender Politics and Social Norms going on that are fun to analyze and pick apart and that feel more like actual cultural-level patterns and not just picking on your exes (which is what most analysis of gender politics within queer relationships always comes across as)
But also 99% of the time I find myself describing something that has already been addressed a million times by the most basic feminist analyses or even just like, cishet women making relatable jokes to each other about How Men Are.
Like, I'll write an entire essay and then realize it amounts to "Women be faking orgasms because men tie their self-esteem to sex."
