google play has pretty consistently been featuring my games for pride for the past couple years. this is cool, thanks google. this year there's a specific little list for trans and nb tales that has two of my games, plus npckc's A Year of Springs which is the most explicitly trans game ABOUT trans issues that's on google play (as far as i know)

the other two games on this list,

are The Arcana: A Mystic Romance which looks like a dating/romance game where you can choose your pronouns. i don't know anything about the plot because i hadn't heard of it until now, so maybe there are trans/nb storylines beyond just being able to use they/them pronouns.

and...

Diablo Immortal.

sorry, upon doing a little more research it turns out the titular diablo is genderfluid. ignore the part where it says "Gender: Male" and scroll down to where they explain:

Diablo's gender is malleable. When he possesses an individual, the form reflects that individual's fears.

so i guess diablo immortal is a trans game after all! happy pride!

i imagine there's some sort of marketing scheme going on where games pay to get put on these lists and this was just an unluckily obvious draw. the app store has similar 'ok you just put this big one on here because its big and you owe it something' vibes on its lists.
