the reason printers are all so prone to weird issues is they violate the natural order by taking objects from the realm of pure thought (the computer) and instantiating them into the debased world of physical existence.

having your data torn from a world of endless possibilities and etched onto a thin slice of wood pulp is extremely painful, and spreadsheets know this, which is why they are constantly trying to resist being printed.
