i wonder if they improved the recipe because the last time i tasted that stuff (circa 2015) it tasted like liquid cardboard
iirc there's a bit of a hint of vanilla by default now and it Helps a lot, like, the default is very "mostly unfrosted miniwheats that sat in the bowl too long" which isn't offensive but isn't like... incredible, but it's better than the old "oatmeal that sat in the bowl too long but came out wrong"
I drank it for a while. The taste was tolerable. I only dropped it cuz it was pricey and made me feel like a ate a brick.
Oh that's not bad. I don't remember seein' the powder back when I got it, but that was around 2016/17.
Between $2.50 and $3.50 depending on how you prepare it, if you buy in bulk or subscribe, etc. the bottles are more expensive mostly because you are paying for the bottle. But with the shaker cup it's honestly not much more effort than the bottle plus you can customize
The last time I tasted it (my roommate got some in 2015), it had negative taste. Like, we added a bunch of grape flavor packets to it, and it still tasted like nothing. It removed the taste.
This is how Original is it's so texture only please thank you the chocolate flavor is like a malted chocolate milkshake I have been mixing it with other things for the liquid and wowie it is food
So my understanding is that it can replace any meal, but can it replace every meal?
ohhhhh that's a relief, knowing that it can replace at most any meal
a lot of it is the creator being a real wack-a-doo and repeated safety/contamination issues
same, loved that shit before i discovered my food intolerances. some people like the cardboard taste of plain oats and we as a society need to accept this
