The Big O is such a weird show and it's hard to believe Chiaki Konaka was involved. The premise that everyone has amensia of before 40 years ago is intriguing but then it bothers me when they do things like play Pool normally or use green lights for go and red for stop like you shouldn't know these things either lmao tho I do love how there's a subway and everyone is like "wtf is that we don't understand it" and they're afraid of it. Also love how the Big O just fucking destroys the streets whenever it appears or leaves and everyone is like "gd fucking damn it Roger could you not destroy the streets twice a day it's really hard to repair them"
It's got a real noire feeling to it and the music is pretty good tho not the OP or ED music. I'm gonna give it a few episodes see where it goes
Also love how when his mech boots up it says "cast in the name of god ye not guilty" and he always yells "BIG O, ACTION!!!" Like that's the name of G-d hakadosh baruch hu
