Autism is a misnomer. We are not people who isolate or only think of ourselves. We aren't loners. Rather, we become socially disabled when forced to try and get through life alone.
We are min-maxxers. We put all our stats into intelligence or strength or wisdom and then make dexterity or charisma or something else our dump stat. If we had to get through an entire campaign alone then of course we would struggle to get through the adventure. We are glass cannons, sluggish tanks, frail clerics or wizards.
We aren't meant to go through life alone. Rather, put us in an adventuring party together. Together we can conquer any campaign just as well.
This came to mind as I succeed in my career and struggle to keep my bedroom organized and habitable. But my other neurodivergant friends who have allocated more stats into household organizing and decorating and stuff have been stepping up to help me, including with things that I genuinely can't figure out how to do even though I think any neurotypical person would say the steps are obvious.
