apparently intel is calling it quits on the NUC concept which is a bummer since i always thought those guys were pretty cute. Kind of stupid, yes, but you know. sort of What If A Computer Was A Little Square. neat idea

Genuinely tragic because these things own, hard. (Shout-out to the picture in the article where they show the 11 extreme model attached to a discrete GPU, that's the good shit right there)

Unfortunate - but even if the nuc is off market, the form factor isn't. (I have one of these, though a couple of generations older. It's great.)

Huh. I've been a NUC owner for a while and it's not bad. Doing some shopping with a friend for a similar thing a while back, it seemed like plenty of other manufacturers were doing the same thing better for less though, so I wonder if they just gave up on competing.

I got a fake NUC by MSI (Cubi 5) yesterday because it was cheap and all the USB ports are upside down because lol MSI.

The NUC line was just... extremely quality engineering in wild ways.
