This is a very, very good video. I was initially afraid to watch it since I perceive all of these self-help apps to be capitalist nightmare fuel, but the video is appropriately critical of it and goes into interesting directions.
I'm already lucky enough to have weekly therapy sessions that let me talk to a real human, and I am eternally grateful for that. If you can get in-person therapy, definitely get it. But I suppose if you can't, one of these apps could at least help a little bit, though honestly, I think just writing to a blog or somewhere without any intention of it being seen or responded to, is probably just as effective if not more so.
