so i needed a holder for my paintbrushes. of course i can make that! its not done yet but for like 2 hours of work it's great. and i used granny spike stitch which is a fave of mine.
i guess this is the start of a bigger collection of thoughts. im constantly very tickled by the nature of creation within me. ive never really connected with digital art in a way that allows creation to flow through me. it frustrates me sometimes. so im finding little ways to weave the physical and digital world together.
i am making this paintbrush holder for my watercolor brushes. yesterday, i took the jump on a purchase i was unsure about for a while. the decision to make the purchase now was basically the last chance i had!
i got myself a cheap pochade from michaels. its like an easel with a box attached to it. its meant to be able to be carried around. i want to bring it to combo breaker and do watercolors plein air while im around. its an idea ive had for a long time. i want to be there so i can capture the feeling. but i need a better way to roll up my brushes lol
