We don't seem to be allowed to see each other's followers, so I guess I'm offering up this post as a place to comment if you'd like to find each other? Or I guess we can continue the shouting into the void on other platforms approach as well...

yeah, I noticed that, which is...annoying, actually. I want to find people!!
Hey you get comment threads on the main post AND you can reblog a post ala tumblr! That's nifty
All I do is shout into the void on all platforms, including that train one over there.
Yeah, I mean, what else is it that we do, really...but at least let's collect a few more people to do it beside.
waves Huzzah to threaded comments! Boo to this entire situation that's caused us to have to test this website (that at least looks promising!) out.
I was thinking about how I kind of like it from a democratic standpoint, that and hiding follower counts, but it's also super annoying when I want to find friends of friends.
I totally get why they're trying to do that because it's such a point of contention on other platforms, but it's useful beyond just metrics, which people also want! It's especially nice to be able to find people by association, or "vet" them that way even. Hopefully they will look hard at the suggestion box as they grow this out, if they can
Yeah, I have no need to follower counts or the numbers, but being able to see the people would be a help. That and "followers in common" was often helpful on Twitter for figuring out who someone was in relation to you. But: I guess onward and upward. If we all send up settling here we'll figure out how to exist in a different way.
Hello! Here we are and I find myself once again wishing there was some sort of linktree like solution where one could post a card or something linking back their chain of usernames throughout the decades, thus connecting with folks who I might not quite recognize or who might not recognize me. More of us should have been smart enough to stick with one name forever. 😂
It would definitely be helpful! For people who have changed names I've definitely started to forget some of the old LJ ones at this point given how long we've been on Twitter now.
