you are right. I think a lot of the problem with this for me is I'm personally very uncomfortable with being viewed in a sexual sense by Anyone, so a lot of the more 'realistic'/day to day kinks bother me for this reason i.e. you can never know if what you're doing or wearing is playing into someone's kink without your knowledge. I recognise this is not a reasonable thing to think and is unlikely to happen to me, but even the idea makes me so oogy.
man that's another thing and like, i think "i don't want to be sexualized by people with mundane/day-to-day kinks" and "people with mundane/day-to-day kinks should be treated with respect even if u don't fuck with them" can absolutely coexist bc there are some people with those kind of kinks who ARE freaks in the context of like, yknow, like the guy who tries to solicit foot pics by duplicious means and etc. there are bad actors in those spaces but not all people in those spaces are bad actors and if their kink like, Bothers you you can always just ignore/mute/block them. but a lot of people do thE Modern Internet Thing of like, oh im going to mercilessly mock this person bc theyre WEIRD XD ionstead of leaving well alone and im still high sorry am rambling. ilu
