i 'installed' it as an app and it just. minimizes itself every few seconds when i'm trying to read it. didn't have this issue with chrome!cohost unfortunately. i'd rather not use chrome but if i must i must. just wanted to check and see if anyone else had this problem and knows a fix before i revert

if we're talking android you could try one of the forks of firefox for android: fennec or ice raven
currently i use fennec
taking notes. i've never used a fork of firefox before for mobile but i'm not opposed to giving it a try! also of note i went from a google pixel to a samsung galaxy s24 so idk if that has anything to do with it eithewr
i don't use either one of those phones (zac has a galaxy a-something? i forget)
the whole point, for me, anyway, of fennec, is it doesn't restrict you to like five pre-approved extensions for mobile.
Also I don't have the "app" version installed I just have a shortcut on my home screen, i like this better because then I can jump out to other websites & manage my tabs. to do this I turned on airplane mode before adding the shortcut so that it didn't know it was supposed to be an app.
I haven't had that specific minimizing issue, but my "app" install of firefox cohost is sized weirdly so that i can't press submit on comments or posts, so i ended up installing it via chrome instead.
yeah i can't even MAKE comments/posts/asks bc the keyboard is all jacked up too... i'm gonna try a fork of firefox as rec'd above but if not i guess i'll use chrome :pensive:

I just access it directly in the Firefox browser (both on desktop and on mobile) instead of setting it up as its own app and it works fine, maybe that would work better for you too?
