the urge to share my creations versus the horrifying ordeal of being perceived. fight of the millennium. anyway posts about my ocs are tagged with "mal's ocs" (minus the quotes). posts about or containing my writing are tagged with "mal's writing" (again, sans quotes). posts about my sci-fi setting specifically are tagged "the eating of names". i'd pin the latter two if they were actually among my top 15 most used tags lol. fair warning, my writing tends to be quite dark and deal with some heavy themes.

 

avatar is a much more humanoid depiction of my OC Arwen Tachht than is strictly accurate, made in this Picrew. (I have humanoidsonas for my non-humanoid OCs because I cannot draw them myself and must rely on dollmakers and such, hooray chronic pain)

Lancer Special Edition Cover (by me!)

For the first time since its original run, the mecha TTRPG Lancer will be getting a physical reprint of its rulebook. I'm excited to announce that in addition to the normal reprint, there will be a special edition release featuring a new cover by yours truly!

I was honored to be the first artist other than Tom to work on the cover art for an official Lancer release. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say I've given everything I am as a mecha fan to this one, I hope you all dig it as much as I do.

I don't believe it's available yet but do keep an eye out on their official store.

Today is the day!

You can finally preorder the special edition of the Lancer RPG reprint with exclusive new cover art by yours truly. I'm very proud of all the work that's gone into this new run of Lancer. If you like my art and haven't gotten around to picking up a physical copy of Lancer yet, I hope you'll consider getting this one.

I am so gonna have to find a way to get this (and this version of the book specifically) for my partner because
A: she's been wishing she had a printed copy she could read/review offline since forever
B: the character she's playing look exactly like that on the cover, and the man she's a (trans) clone of was already established to have been a Monarch pilot so this was definitely a case of "omgwtf" followed by "I need it" XD
