Princess Wing is a Japanese TTRPG where you play as mecha inspired magical girls fighting against aliens, and I really like it. You may have seen my post about the game going around here before, and I've seen plenty of people since say they really want to try this. Lately, I've been thinking about running something in addition to my regular Sword World 2.5 campaign, and I've decided I might as well use that energy to share this game I enjoy and give people a chance to try it out. I'm not planning on doing a full campaign, but there's a few pre-written scenarios for the game, and I wouldn't mind just running through those once.

If you're interested in giving this game a shot, reply to this post. I plan on using voice chat in Discord and using playingcards.io for the map and handling the cards. And I'm in the EST time zone and have a full time job, so I'm thinking Tuesday or maybe Wednesday evenings starting between 6:00 and 8:00 PM EST and maybe an occasional Saturday afternoon. Since I'm probably only running a few sessions, there is some flexibility here. In my experience, an average session of this game lasts around 2 hours.

And if you're wondering how I am as a GM, I ran what's still the only actual play session this game in English that I'm aware of, and you can check that out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukTrR1604oc

Oh, holy shit, that sounds like a good time. I do have other sessions on Tuesday and Saturday, but the Tuesday one is only every other week and the Saturday one won't start until the 17th of August. I'm pretty much free any day between Wednesday and Friday.

Ah, an excuse to dig deeper into a book your post led me to download but that I never got around to reading in full? I'm intrigued. If you'll have me, I'd love to have you as a guide into exploring the Princess Wing system 😆.

I'll note, I'm mostly playing in or hosting games during your proposed times, but I do have Tuesday evenings open every other Tuesday (starting on July 30). Possibly every Tuesday, if your sessions have a hard cutoff on 8:00 PM Eastern Time (when my bi-weekly Tuesday game starts). The occasional Saturday evening is also open to me. I don't know if my open Tuesdays line up with Sheeby's, but if they do, then I hope that puts you one step closer to a full table 😉.

I’d love to get a chance to play this game! I’ve had my eye on it ever since I saw the other post about it lol, but I’ve not been able to convince any of my GM friends to run it. I did read through it though and it looks fun! (Though I should probably refresh my memory, it’s been a hot minute.)

I am currently available Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Saturdays at the times specified, though that may change depending on the date this happens. Come late August, my availability will shrink to only Tuesdays at that time (and possibly still Saturdays as well, depending on whether one of my long-term campaigns is off hiatus by then).

I don't play a lot of tactical combat games, that couple with the magical girl aesthetic seems pretty interesting! The wednesday time also seems to be very appropriate for me, if I got the correction right (I seem to be 1 hour ahead)
