Couple of things here: I integrated the chorus I teased earlier, and I got the premium TR-909 softsynth, so the drums sound way better imo. I also changed up the mix- I was originally just slapping a reverb plugin on the output, I didn't really know you're supposed to fine tune the reverb for each instrument so they don't all sound like they're across the room. So I have some convolution reverb on a couple of tracks, some basic delays on others, and one that's completely dry so it sounds like it's right at the front.
I hope you enjoy this version :) It's hard to stop tinkering but I think I'm done with it for now. I have a couple other songs in the pipeline I can work on.
Hmm now I feel like the drums should have a light room reverb instead of the delay. Welp!
