New song for the space game :) This one came together pretty quickly. It’ll be used in the Assembly Building while you’re putting together your spacecraft/setting up mission parameters.
I tried to syncopate more deliberately, I think I got a pretty good rhythm.
All the samples are Jupiter-8, again, except the TR-909 drum track. I feel I could have done more with the drums, but I’m not sure it’s necessary.
I briefly tried adding reverb, but I didn’t like how it sounded, so I stuck with a dry mix @ some delay effects. I’ll probably stick with that for the rest of the soundtrack.
This is my favorite song I've written for Cosmosporia, heck, so far this is the song for Cosmosporia. Looking back, I'm not sure how I got it to sound so good, but it works really well!
Thanks to everyone who put up with my music posts. I've made so much progress since I started posting them. I went from going entirely off vibes to having a somewhat solid understanding of music theory fundamentals.
By the way, if you like those "analog remix" songs I did, I don't think I'm uploading them anywhere else for copyright concerns. Yeah I know people post remixes all the time, but you're technically supposed to get "performance rights." I wanted to make a whole album, but if I do any more they'll likely just be for personal consumption. Oh well.
