I feel like we are approaching the point in time where we are going to get some incredibly hilarious names and I can't wait.
I feel like the late 80s and early 90s are the point where changing your name became more common and there were enough goths and D&D nerds that some of them went ham and changed their names to something awesome, like Raven Darkwalker, or whatever.
Obviously these people got married and had kids, some of which were named similarly, but, crucially, didn't share the parents interests.
So these kids went through life being named Abyssia Dawnstar, and are now nearing the age of having their own kids, whom they are bound and determined to give normal names to, having lived that whole ordeal themselves.
Pretty soon my non-existent kids are going to come home and tell me how their new best friend is named Justin Tiamat, and I, for one, cannot wait
