This one's mine! Master Honey (it/its), a purveyor of only the finest intoxicants in the Neath. Based on a bumblebee bat w/ some edits to the snout and ears to make them more smoochable and biteable, respectively.
...is a fursona an oc?
This is the previous fursona before I got yinglet'd!
I still have bat feelings a lot sometimes and I get tempted to go back to that, maybe with a redesign.
Rousettus Aegyptiacus was used as a reference.
... y'know it's been nearly a full year since I switched my fursona to bat
she deserves many head pats and fruity drinks (both literally and alcoholic but still literally fruit-flavored hard drinks)
last piece by @Ashto rest is by me
Art by Indorak (FA), @TrashCorgi (Carrd), and a base by Smiggles (Website) coloured by Echo.
We feel a fursona turned headmate is close enough. Echo (it/its) describes itself both as a fae spirit inhabitting a bat plushie, and a bat plushie inhabitted by a fae spirit.
God none of these are the same aspect ratio.
Three sonas and an OC! ...Okay, admittedly Mesg (the OC) barely counts as a bat at this point but I'm including them anyway! (Visual design explanation and identification in the alt text, also click through and read them, a lot of the art is cut off...)
I really like bats, although its funny to notice I haven't made a "pure" OC or sona who's just a bat... None of my bats are based on one bat in specific Noivern doesn't quite count and more just have the vibe of bats... Wing arm-enjoyer here, Mesg only doesn't have them after a begrudging concession redesign that took me like a year to accept, although they do look better this way
Anyway, Battanram is sort of shy but goofy and uses a lot of words to explain things, S.C. is cute and blunt and really focused on self-care, Etchem's very silly and lovey-dovey and enjoys just about everything, and Mesg is a very odd child who deserves to be hugged and held and helped.
This is my old fursuit Kinky! She's named and designed after my favorite (at the time) alcoholic beverage. It remains the only fursuit that I have made entirely on my own.
Fun fact: about 10 minutes after taking this picture, a girl convinced her mother to stop the car they drove past the park in, and come back so she could come give me a hug. I really hope that was a formative experience for her
