There's this obscure culinary product that exists here in New England called Boiled Cider. It is pretty much exactly what it sounds like, freshly pressed apple cider that has been boiled down until roughly the consistency of honey or maple syrup. I only learned of it last year while doing my apple research, and I've lived here for well over a decade now.
Anyway, once it comes back into season I hope to pick some up and make some bbq sauces out of it, I think it would go really good on pork.
