Floating this out there but does anybody know anything about spandex bodysuits? I'm designing one that's mostly white but with black gloves and socks and I want to know if it's better to print the black on the costume or purchase separate gloves and socks to pull over a white suit.

This is all custom so it's not a matter of cost but a matter of, like, comfort and how two layers of fabric would look and if they would play nice with each other or if the single layer is better

Depending on how you're going to use the suit (Outside or inside? Are you going to accessorize boots or shoes and go out? Are you gonna eat or use the phone a bunch), you're better off with a spandex suit with separate gloves \ socks. Integrated socks\gloves might be better if you are doing a character where that would be integral to a design, like a fur pattern, but if you are going to be on the suit a lot going around outside, something you can easily put on more comfortable footwear or to remove the socks might be better.

In terms of aesthetics, I do prefer integrated socks\gloves.

Something you'll want to keep in mind with spandex suits is that lighter colors tend to be less opaque than darker ones. It might be helpful to get a second layer of white to go underneath the outermost layer!

It's possible to get gloves and socks that are sewn into the suit, even in different colors. My personal recommendation is to have at least the gloves separate, that way you can have free paws when you need them for more dextrous tasks while you wear the suit.
