Funny story, the very first dream I remember having was in college and it scared me so much I didn't leave the dorm all day. Less for the content and more because I simply didn't know how to react to it. I rarely remember my dreams, so I've never bothered keeping a journal.
For a stretch of time I had lucid dreams only, and was very good at controlling them, but one night while I was pinned down by gunfire, picking up pizzas for a wedding (dream priorities, am I right?) I decided to just make all the problems go away. My dream self got so mad at me for not playing by the spirit of the thing that she kicked me out of my own dream and I've never had a lucid dream since.
But no, apart from the occasional chost, I don't record my dreams
