Anonymous User asked: Thoughts on book covers/bindings/typography?
I've designed covers for and bound a couple books with moderate success. What I'm really hoping for is publication, which would take the cover design and binding out of my hands.
As for typography, my favorite font is Garamond. I also find that it helps me write better. Some people say Comic Sans does the same for them, and I didn't really believe it until I tried it with Garamond. Totally works!
On a side note, there is a printing press museum here in Massachusetts that I visited last year. I really enjoyed seeing all the really intricate mechanisms. They're really works of art more than machines
