There's a girl I work with who likes ABBA and was talking about them today and I was just like "oh yeah, the ones who wrote that chess musical"

And she was like what and I said, "that chess musical" and told her a little bit about it, which is basically all I know about the collected works of ABBA and after a few minutes of frantic phone searching she looked like I had just shattered her entire world.

I don't really know what happened but she locked herself in a closet

Not one of my favourites! The other big song is I Know Him So Well which I'd recommend. I'd recommend listening to the original album if you like musicals. If you don't, it's not going to change your mind about them. Nobody's Side and Someone Else's Story are both worth a listen regardless, although the latter wasn't on the original album and I'm not sure if the ABBA blokes had anything to do with it?

I'll check it out! I don't really have all that much for or against musicals, I really liked the one that I was in that one time (not so much that other one that other time). I'm kind of of the opinion that it's hard to get the full meaning out of it without seeing the actual performance, which with this musical is just about impossible these days

Omg what musical were you in? It started as a concept album so you should be relatively fine if you listen to that. And you might get the opportunity! I've seen two student productions of it, and maybe at some point there'll be a proshoot.
