We both played pretty extensively about 15 years ago and that was pretty much the last time we spoke on a regular basis. The Cataclysm expansion is when I kinda lost interest, and since classic is headed that way this summer, we decided to give it one last hurrah.
It's been fun. I'm playing it with the mindset of somebody going back to see the neighborhood where they grew up, if said neighborhood was amount to be bulldozed. I'm not sure how much of the vanilla raid content we're going to be able to do just the two of us, but we'll find out together.
By coincidence I got into wow and furry around the same time, so I play a feral druid, and used to be a top end paladin tank back in the day, so we've got dps and healing when needed. We make a good team.
Not having family nearby has been tough, but this helps.
