I know this is a joke, but this is really, genuinely a people are fascinating thing to think about, because it's absolutely observable that (at the population level, anyway) you really can induce new kinks! Clothing kinks are created by the existence of the clothing. Or, nuns, right? Some people have a nun thing, and that kink absolutely cannot exist unless you live in the historical bootprints of the Vatican. The much-vaunted-by-horrible-weebs so-called "Japanese tentacle kink"?
