I have worn wired, over the ear headphones for 20 years. I find earbuds very uncomfortable, and I am just fundamentally opposed to buying yet another thing that I have to charge and becomes useless without its battery. HOWEVER.

Due to a possible upcoming procedure rendering my preferred headphones unwearable for a whole year, I needed to find another option.

I bought some cheap earbuds and I immediately discovered the issue. My ears are really really small. I am using the smallest tips they came with and they're still a little big. I think I can make it work though. For a year

I don't love these headphones, and I think the issues I have with them are kind of inherent to this style of headphones, so I'll have to deal with it.

They are incredibly snug and incredibly good at blocking out external noise. Seriously they work better than the earplugs I bought of a similar style. That is nice. The thing I don't like is that in meetings I can't hear myself talk. This was very disorienting at first, and I ended up solving the issue by taking one of the earbuds out.

They're functional. Definitely better than the older generation of earbuds I grew up with, in terms of fit and comfort, and at 20-ish dollars I could abandon them after they've served their purpose without regret. But I have to imagine I'll be switching back to my old standby as soon as I get the all clear
