My sister and I are playing a lot of Classic WoW as a way to reconnect after about two decades of estrangement. We're taking advantage of this brief window where the level cap is 80 but the original level 60 endgame content hasn't been removed yet to get into places we shouldn't go.

My sister plays a paladin and it suits her perfectly. She blindly charges ahead, secure in the knowledge that basically nothing we encounter in these dungeons could possibly kill her, and has no qualms about fighting 20 guys all at once.

Her character can't stealth, whereas mine can, so I try to sneak around and avoid conflict whenever possible, and she has come up with a technique she calls "the clipboard strategy", wherein she picks a gap that she thinks is big enough to not aggro the enemies on either side, then just walks through. Sometimes it works!

I can totally imagine any IRL paladin saying something to the effect of, "Sneaking about and subterfuge are no better than lying, and lying is a sin. All we need to get past these soldiers is a friendly smile and a confident stride."

She has gotten me locked behind two gates and had to beat the rest of the dungeon alone while I waited.
