Had a clutch win in a Harmony of Dissonance randomizer race. Lemme tell you that doing a sub-2 hour in this rando when you don't have the skills of JupiterClimb or fusecv is no mean feat when the area rando is AreaHybrid. I was really proud of this accomplishment.
You've ever seen those cartoons where someone is trying to make a decision? They have an angel on one shoulder and a devil on another trying to convince them one way or another. Yeah that's what it is like everyday for a Xennial except we have a Gen Xer on one shoulder and a Milennial on the other. We're torn between the apathy and self-destructive cynicism of Gen X with the empathy and self-destructive optimism of a Milennial.
Like an example is someone wanting to come up and talk to us, we are torn between the genuine desire for human connection despite our anxieties and the disgust for the sheer audacity that someone would approach us without asking... and this is hard to express without looking like a psycho which is why a lot of us develop resting bitch face (which ironically makes us look even more psycho). Like in our brains, our internal monologue is torn between "Hey we should be nice to them" and "Who the fuck you think you are?"
