St. Percy's Day!

This is the second batch of the full illustrations from an outfit meme I posted. I just numbered the posts because I don't think I can link individual posts.

I had a lot of fun throughout this whole process, but I think I really hit my stride with these last four outfits. The number of patterns on the summer outfit killed me, but since I own basically that exact outfit, I wanted it to look as similar as possible.

The hardest part of all of these, however, was definitely that sweater. It's one of my favorite pieces of clothing I own, but I wasn't messing around with free-handing that pattern, so I traced the whole thing and staring at that fully saturated red for hours almost put me in the ground 💀

I need to draw her more, posing lanky fuzzy goblins might be my new favorite pastime 💃🦇

I like to think that I'm good at designing clothes, but when it comes down to putting things on paper, I don't have a lot of experience and I tend to get stuck. That being said, I found it easier to modify outfits I actually own to fit this character.

I love working with bright colors and patterns, but BOY was it a struggle to get all of the garish colors I love to work together and not look like a mess. I also neglected think how hard it would be to not only match all of the bright colors of the clothes together, but also make sure all of the clothes didn't clash with her fur and hair color. I complain but I'm the master of my own punishment 😜🦇

I have what's supposed to be a representative oc that I've never publicly posted anywhere named Oona June. Within the last few months I finished this Twitter meme of some outfit concepts for her, and despite a pared down workflow all the portraits still took me a few months to finish 😅. I'm super proud of how everything came out, but fuck I need to procure a bit of self-control when it comes to designing outfits with patterns.

Last summer it was a meme on Twitter to draw your OC in that cute strawberry outfit, which was just made for Banana, so I got that done. But I certainly couldn't leave my sweet strawberry Banana all by its lonesome, so I drew my friend @MacTheKnife 's fursona, Ashliel, in a peach outfit to match. They're telling each other ✨secrets✨
