i don't work here any more, and i don't really give a shit if all the nerds on this website read about this plan to move a large grocery store chain's email from on-premise to cloud services. they were a clusterfuck of tech debt, of which their on-prem exchange servers were only the tip of the iceberg. you might have seen the other decker thing i made called "cubicles" that was inspired by sitting around (and standing around) in a cubicle a lot at this place. well... this is something i produced in that very cubicle for a bunch of people that made a lot more money than i did, and they were mostly shitbirds.
also, none of this shit happened on time, it was still in "phase zero" when I left at the end of February, 2024. it kept getting pushed back because they were psychotic about NOT retaining email because they hated having a paper trail and getting sued over it... and tons of people were retaining email they shouldn't have been... 🫠
