OH HEY IM ALIVE IN HERE AGAIN I FORGOT MY PASSWORD. BUT EVEN THOUGH THIS POST IS SUPER LATE THIS IS MY PIECE FOR @sirhammerlock

A centaur from the Shess ethnicity poses with their clan's small flock of Tep, a livestock animal that is farmed for its meat and cheese-like edible silk. To their right are the hens of the flock with their large silk glands and spinnerets, in the centaur's arms is a distressed yearling newly weaned off silk, and to their left is the rooster with flashy (but useless) display spinnerets. In the background is the tough yellow chaparral flora of the harshly seasonal Shess peninsula. Hanging off their fore shoulder and hooked to a belt on their rear waist is a 2 meter long black powder rifle, characteristic of centaur firearms developed before first contact. The shepherd keeps it with them while herding the flock to ward off wildlife that competes with or likes to eat Tep. It's also useful for bagging game meat.

there is no video game in existence that commits to a batshit insane pitch quite like warframe. if anyone had walked into the offices of like, destiny, and said "what if the players went back in time to 1999 and it's lore critical and the main antagonist dresses like jotaro kujo" they would be kicked out of the studio but yet DE decided this was the only way this game could reasonably go next

i do genuinely think the best thing about warframe is that it consistently creates shit that i have never even come close to seeing before. they just posted a short story about a group of miners who became enthralled by an eldritch being, and so they started to dig down. not because the being was deeper in the planet, but because it was on a different planet that was orbiting below them. they just needed to get closer to Deimos no matter what, and the fastest way was through.
