Give it "real" scroll bars. On the correct side of the window. With buttons.
Bring it up to the UI standards of Windows 2 or Mac System 6.
Proportional display font support, for instance.
Keep everything else compatible, but like, give Xman and Xterm the feeling of software from 1986, not 1966. Charming vintage, not Awful vintage.
