i think there's definitely a difference of kind between like your typical shady download site and "google literally replaced the top result for a well known utility with an identical lookalike scam site that gives you malware"
This was a really fun thing to see after noodling with keepass earlier this week...
(tbf I'm fine, I was just grabbing updates and migrating stuff but still...)
