(and I can't confirm or deny this, I've only heard this through the grapevine)
there have been people reporting qemu to Nintendo's anti-piracy inbox.

why? because:

  • "QEMU is a [...] emulator".
  • "QEMU is capable of emulating [...]".
  • "When QEMU emulates [...] it is capable of running [...] a different machine".

I can't even begin to understand where the disconnect in logic there begins, or ends.

(to be clear: no, Nintendo may look "evil" but they're not stupid. they're almost certainly not going to "DMCA"/takedown/sue/seize/raid QEMU.)
