I asked someone for suggestions and got "Making Work Visible (it's trying to convince you to use kanban but also provides a bunch of failure modes on organisations)", but I don't think it matches the leftist/progressive writing restriction (but might be worth synthesising from). It's hard to draw too big of a list for this kind of thing cos the space is very Productivity Grindset.
