long story short, I can't keep living here in Long Island, The family situation has been getting increasingly abusive and putting me at risk of going homeless. I dealt with my home burning down last year because a member of my family decided to leave the house on a careless romantic fling without telling anyone where she was, when it burned down. I lost so much already, and the people that that person associates with, are worrying me.
I'll need to begin saving up enough to get myself over to Seattle with my car, before this coming winter.
I'm atm looking for:
- short-term local or remote job, Long Island/NYC/NJ/PHL area, for ~6mo, doing "practically anything" for ~$17-25/hr or more
- a long-term Seattle-local job, enough to pay rent and food, closer to my core competencies (which range from web frontend to embedded or Linux systems design/architecture)
When I say "practically anything", I can easily lift >75lbs. I'll rack servers in a datacenter, or carry cement bags. Whatever works.
And if you know of any cheap places in the Seattle area, let me know.
(I'd like to keep around Roosevelt, but almost anywhere's good at the moment.)
Not seeking roommates unless I already know you elsewhere.
