Playing some Slow Damage tonight!
Just now learning that Chapter 2 differs depending on (I assume) how you ended Chapter 1, which is cool. I ended up in "Doctor" instead of "Brother" and oh, is it hideously uncomfortable. Purposefully so, but oof. yeek.
I've played a couple of Nitro+Chiral's titles, but the approach to this one is a lot less straightforward in terms of progression. Honestly, I prefer it! Progressing in YOU and ME and HER often felt like a puzzle game and I really enjoy it when VNs do interesting things with player agency, despite how limited interaction typically is in the genre.
I haven't run into the other two main characters/routes yet, but I am very fond of Rei and Taku already. Not usually into Rei's preppy, sweet, charming type but add in some fight club and doing body mods on the side and you got me. What is UP with him.
The whole protective, paternal thing Taku has going on with Towa is cute. I'm interested in seeing how that evolves into a romantic angle.

Doing my first run completely blind, I'll get into the weeds with mechanics and story branches later. What ending/route will I get, only time will tell!!

Finished Doctor/Ch2, wincing from end to end. I join in Rei and Taku wanting to shake Towa and yell at him to care more about his wellbeing. Towa!!
I suspect I might be in Taku's route, which, yay. Guy who's into getting gravely injured/exasperated older doctor lol
I've been noticing little flashes of something during random dialogue, too fast to see, that at first I assumed were graphical glitches, but now I'm thinking they're purposeful and it's driving me nuts. What is UP with that. I think I caught a face last time? ARE they glitches??
