archaeology documentaries have two incompatible goals:

To give viewers the thrill of watching a new discovery, seeing long-buried secrets unveiled for the first time

To teach about the big-name sites like the Colosseum and Chichén Itzá for Social Studies classes where the dang kids won't sit still if the CGI and editing aesthetics are more than 10 years old
thus we must constantly, constantly be finding new surprises about Stonehenge, a site which people have been continuously aware of for five thousand years
