I kinda tend to obsess with cameras now, and while I have a medium format Moskva-5 bellow camera on the way to me in post, I am already looking at others now, including stuff like Mamiya Press Super 23 or Fuji 690 for my upcoming Japan trip. However, I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to carry all that. Sadly, I have my Olympus camera with a pancake lens for a reason.

This analog behemoth, a relic of the mid-20th century, a brick. 6x9 camera that has detachable film backs, internal bellows for tilt/shift focusing, collapsible lens... and yet you'd need a large backpack to even carry this shit.

Mamiya Press Super 23 is anachronistic and unwieldy, yet it is this very incongruity that makes it a thing of unmitigated beauty. It might seem strange to use an old film camera, but there's something special about the Super 23 that draws me in.
