I've been in the habit of reading comments on posts since the early aughts, and Twitter had a big problem with that. Too much noise to signal ratio. Lately it's come down to an overabundance of trolls who post bullshit for bullshit's sake.
I'd love to see all these current trolls posting about $8 and "woke" start eating crow soon, but that's unlikely to happen - they aren't anywhere else outside of Twitter, and they won't show themselves after the shutdown.
So the last laugh will only come out all alone.
