it took me a while to get used to cohost not really showing numbers but i'm sorta used to it now. i don't really know whether my posts are getting interactions at a glance, and as such i've stopped caring so much. people comment on posts or reply (and that's nice because shouting into a void is nice but human interaction is nicer LOL), but if a post literally gets only 1 or 2 likes i'm not sat here like "oh nooo this post flopped" im just like "oh yay people liked that!"

in reply to @slimelia's post:

i disliked it to start with, but quickly got over it and now its rewired my brain. and you do still KNOW if you've had a somewhat successful post because you'll see lots of shares on it (as i witnessed on this post) so for artists who need their work to be shared to build an audience it's still possible to see roughly when you have somewhat of a reach

it's just fun here in general tbh. i keep yelling at my pals to join cohost and they're dragging their hills coz they don't want to sign up for yet another social media and i get it but also this is the only social media i keep organically coming back to because it's very good and very fun & i want my pals to experience that too LOL

idk if it is a side effect of numbers and stuff not mattering here, whether the people here are just built different, the atmosphere is different, or a mix of all those things, but: i also find people are far more talkative here. people are open to just interact and comment and reply and chat. like look at the post! you're my second comment! i have way more followers on tumblr than i do here but everyone is scared to comment or reply there

Omg I know, and with the insane difference between reblogs and likes!

I try and reblog as much as I can with stuff I like there so ppl's hard work gets shared, but ooof it's an uphill battle lol

But yeah the vibe here is really nice and chill, love your content and your CSS Crimes are always fun to see!
