Have a timelapse of compression. I've taken around 36 screenshots of Game Boy being COMPRESSED and combined into a timelapse. But, it's even more cursed in the end, be forewarned.

I would like to compress more things. Also, we should probably back this up on, I don't know, is google docs good? I guess as long as you have the original file, you can put it up anywhere in case Discord goes down.

why does the lower half turn red suddenly? was there a change in the script, or is that some freak shit that happens when you do enough compression and slight gaussian blurs?

oh it's just known usual artifacting in JPEGs when some bit flips on save or the file gets corrupted on save when process crashes, etc, looks like this: https://superuser.com/questions/276154/automating-the-scanning-of-graphics-files-for-corruption

so the game boy pic got corrupted at some point, and the script continued applying compression to a corrupted file

well, that was a pretty interesting effect in the end
