Oh, just saw “Melbourne” on the price tag. That's still like, CA$11. (For some reason I thought you were in Canada. Your domain, I guess.) I suppose it's 6.9%, but still, wild. Is all beer that expensive, or is this particularly so for being craft?
I'm just visiting right now; I do live in Canada. My wife's family is Australian, so we're over here to see friends and relatives right now.
Craft beer's definitely more expensive - other beers are cheaper, but there's definitely some remote island tax going on where the base price for everything is significantly higher than what I'd see in Canada.
