thinking about developing an asynchronous multiplayer puzzle/strategy/board game that runs without servers (ish*). board state would be serialized and added as a URL parameter and you'd just send links to one another to take turns. has the benefit of working across any text exchange platform including email, IRC, etc.

only problem is i can't think of an actual fucking game. i only wanna make this so me and my gf can play something together at different times hehe

*it would need ONE server to host the fuckin.. web app. but everything else would just be using url params

yeah, you can pack a good amount of information into a URL before you start hitting length limits! giving clients complete control over the state allows for pretty easy cheating but i don't see it being an issue here. best of luck!
