just watched the Apple Keynote introducing "Apple Intelligence" (which is a brilliant piece of marketing, not gonna lie) and all I can think is that I should be adding skills to my resume like:

  • can write documentation, emails, and ticket responses without the aid of generative AI or chatbots
  • capable of identifying hallucinations generated by large language models
  • can prioritize email and ticket queues without requiring expensive computer hardware to summarize it first
  • knows how to intentionally communicate without running emails through a "tone" filter

etc etc

the thing is, the number of companies that would find any of these to be actual useful skills is likely to get smaller and smaller
