cohost had its problems, a lot of which i feel stemmed from community infighting, but this was a good space that was trying its best. will genuinely really fuckin miss it here. this is the only place aside from Twitter/X (answers to both) where i talk and people interact and reply. bluesky is libertarian and FBPE hell, and it's fucking dead. my last post that really took off on here was my "useful software" post, and one bit of software that came up was RetroShare, which can be used to basically create your own peer-to-peer social media network. serverless social media.. food for thought for those of you unsure where else to turn to ❤️

like.. i dont think it looks too cluttered. you could hide it on mobile - i just think it increases the audience of artist alley, which increases the likelihood of people buying listings. plus its a good insight into what the vibe of cohost is imo
