Listening to They're Only Chasing Safety for its 20th birthday today. Reinventing Your Exit was like the first post hardcore song I ever heard and it's stuck with me now for almost 2 decades. I've never been a religious girl but in a world I felt rejected in because of how different I was from everyone else, Underoath made me felt loved for who I was and led me to a music community that I now could never live without.
