So, found an MG TF in my current price range.
Pros:
-Had a beautiful exhaust system fitted, if I were to have bought the car it would have been on sound alone, absolutely wonderful
-Owned by an enthusiast
-Had the whole front suspension replaced because it rusted out
Cons:
-Had rust bad enough that multiple people who know rust better than I do advised me to stay well clear
-Somewhat dubious milage history
-More modifications than just the exhaust that would make getting it serviced harder
In the end, I had to walk away from it. The heart still hungers for that sound tho
Did find out that the rover k-series does kick ass, wicked engine.
