It's an Alfa Romeo 159 with the 1.8 MPI engine! (you'll find it in a lot of Vauxhalls of the era too, it's a GM engine) Bought it for £2700 in April this year. Just about to hit 100000 miles this tank.
I never had my heart set on an Alfa but it's kinda won me over. (I'd love a Giulia)
With this engine the performance isn't anything to write home about, but the looks more than make up for it, both inside and out. Giugario knocked it out of the park on the 159s styling.
I've heard the 1.75 TBi is meant to be the best engine, but I'm not sure I'd buy another 159 to find out.
